Pender PR was hired to help with media relations for the lead-up to The Vancouver Irish Film Festival. We secured press, event listings and promoted the festival through community outreach which resulted in a boost in ticket sales, sell-outs and a successful festival.

VIRFF is a cultural event organized by a passionate group from the Irish community to celebrate the best in Irish cinema. The 2019 festival included A Bump in the Road, Rosie and a program of Oscar nominated shorts.

The festival experienced a sold-out opening night and continued to sell-out most of their events across the festival. Through community outreach and media we were able to secure interviews on CBC with Georgia Straight, Vancouver Sun and event listing across the city.
